Richard Koret is the author of Murdering Moses, the two-book set comprising Heroic Fraud and Pious Freud. He is also the translator of the new linear literal translation of Moses and Monotheism. Born in Rochester, New York, he made his discoveries about Freud’s Moses while an undergraduate at Princeton University, where he graduated with a degree cum laude in the Religion Department. A paper on the subject appear in Response several years later, and Koret was invited to give an address on his findings at the Freud House in London. However, the full investigation of Freud’s magnificent murder mystery had to wait some forty years for its publication. After raising his family in Israel, with daughter Lironne and son Eylon, and son Adar in Singapore, he travels the world and works full-time as a writer and editor.
